Ecolyx is a small travel agancy specializing in tailor-made trips. Our challange was to help ecolyx improve their initial interaction with new customers and create an even better experience leading up to the decision to purchase
We strated this project with competitor research and then digged in to their existing google analytics and had personal interviews with both existing and possible future customers. From this we created personas, user journey and drew insights. Some of these insights where that people rearly came beyiond the first page on their website, the time spent on the websiteb was often less then 20 seconds, most of the traffic came from social media and the website was often visited using a smartphone.
After the ideatiopn process we began prototyping in 3 stages: Rapid prototyping new ideas, prototyping the final idea and prototyping the final product. We continously tested the prototype during this stages. The final products is a responsove website were we put emphesis on inspiration, giving the same information to the visitors but with less text, shortening the steps from entering the site to purchase and added a inspiring filter system.
